I dont want a full on coat, just a jacket with a hood, keep the rain from drenching me. At 33 weeks do not want to buy something expensive as dont have the £ and wont wear it again. Have tried buying a bigger sized thing you get in millets and just looks ridiculous as im only 5'3 and looks like im wearing my dads coat. Any suggestions?

I've got a child size pac a mac from Debenhams (age 14 I think); it is freakin' enormous - I managed to wear it zipped up over my bump! I keep it on the bottom of the buggy now - it has proved to be invaluable. It cost around £12 I think.

....you obviously don't find me on the style threads very often

Washersaurus · 05/10/2008 15:16

Try your local freecycle group and see if anyone has anything suitable for free.

Bought mine from Decathlon in size 2xl, they have them from £25!

I borrowed my dhs for duration - can still use it afterwards for going over the sling if you have one.

or get cheap debehams one as washersuarus suggests (gap used to do cheap pac a macs too)

Live with looking like you're wearing your dad's coat. I borrowed a huge waterproof of DH's that was probably from Millets or similar originally.
