Anyone 12 weeks or thereabouts and could not feel any LESS pregnant?????

I am 12 weeks 2mrw and appart from sickness i couldn't feel any less pg. I keep reading about all these people who are showing and feeling there baby at 12 weeks and beginning to wonder whats wrong with me! anyone else feel similar?

10 weeks and apart from tiredness I am in the same boat. Have mild nausia but only 1 bout of actual sickness. Am constantly worried! My boobs no longer hurt as much as they did in the early days is this normal?

I am 11 weeks today and inspite of excessive salivation, nausea and wretching, I do not in any way feel pregnant. I just feel over-tired and run down basically. I am hoping that after the scan I feel different because at the moment, I am not really engaged with this 'baby' in any way. And this is a very planned, much-wanted pregnancy! I think I am still in mild shock as it happened so quickly...

Flirty thirty, our baby was much wanted i think thats what makes it so hard to feel real. I'm wishing the weeks away till ifeel and look pg!

I also suddenly felt 'OK'in the 11th week and my boobs stopped hurting totally except for tender nipples. Had 12-week scan on Wednesday and everything fine. I'm having triplets and my tummy hasn't really got any bigger at all. I'm sure all will be fine - you'll feel so much better when you have your scan. When is it?

I'll go you one better - I'm at 15w 4d, and if I don't start manifesting some symptoms, any symptoms, soon, I'll be convinced that the whole thing is just a nefarious deception concocted by a bunch of doctors, ultrasound technicians and midwives!

I'm 13 weeks. Absolutely knackered - which is why feel pg. On 3rd pg so have had a bump since 7 weeks, but with nr1 some people didn't know I was pg when I had my 20 week scan. Enjoy those last few months of normal clothes I'd say. First time it took me 18 months to get back in them again and was genuinely shocked to have a bump still for so long after giving birth to ds1.

Yomellamohelly that makes me feel worse lol!! this is my third also (been 8 yrs since last pg mind) and not even as much as a straining button !!!

Oh no! Want to trade places? Have a wedding next weekend and I have nothing that'll make me look half decent (bride works in fashion so most of the ladies are going to look very funky).

I'm 25 weeks pregnant tomorrow.
The one thing people never tell you is how slowly it all seems to happen - I have only had a bump for a couple of weeks and like some of you wouldn't have even known I was pg until I started feeling movement at 19 weeks.
Except for the usual tiredness and nausea near the beginning which quickly fades.
So don't go worrying about how slowly/quickly things seem to be happening for other people - personally I'm not sure I believe all these people who say that have a bump at 12-14 weeks (unless it is a 2nd, 3rd baby etc). It's probably just a food bump from all the eating you do in the first few weeks.
btw - I thought I'd never get to 12 weeks and be able to tell people and all of a sudden it 25 weeks and I'm thinking about how much I've got to do in such a short space of time - so try not to wish the weeks away too much...

Hi there; I felt the same way when I was 13 weeks PG. I did not have much morning sickness anyway, so my PG symptoms were tiredness, aching boobs and some pain in the tummy ( stretching ligaments). When I hit 13 weeks, it was like I was not PG at all, which got me very worried. Silly me, I started to research "silent mc" etc. The only thing that helped me: I ordered fetal doppler, the thing that allows you to hear baby's heart beat, and it totally calmed me down. Whenever I needed reassurance, I checked for my baby's heartbeat and felt better (once a week). Just remember to do it on the full bladder otherwise you may not find it.
Now I am 21 weeks PG; just got back from my scan today and everything is fine!! No need for doppler, i can feel baby kicking all the time.
So get a doppler if you are worried; it helps!

Newmomma i know i should just try and enjoy the fact that i'm finally 12 weeks and try not to wish the time away, symptoms are starting to fade but are being replaced with a headache from hell !!!

Ranirani i have done exactly what you said i rather stupidly looked up silent mc and have not done myself any favours at all ! it didnt help when a so called friend said "oh i dont envy you going for your scan when i went for my 13 week scan the baby had died" not the best thing to say to someone who worrys like me!

On the plus side i have had a scan at 8 weeks which we saw the baby and everything was good even saw the heartbeat. So fingers crossed the little button is hanging on in there xx

I'm just over 12 weeks and have two friends that are a week infront of me, both have lovely bumps, but i'm still managing to hold mine in and wear my normal clothes. no sickness, just lots of tears and tiredness and sore breasts, bit like having pms full time. I'm looking forward to getting that boost of energy all mums reckon you get some point after 12 weeks, but i'm happy to wait for my bump, i know my little baked bean is alive and well after the scan so feel good but never thought pregnancy would be quite so boring.

pleased I've passed the twelve week mark as i can go horseriding again, and have the odd little glass of wine.

must admint I found listening to the heart beat brought the baby much more to life than seeing it on the screen. it's all magical though

just wanted to reasure you -
I didnt have any bump or feel any movement till after my 20 week scan. After the early pregnancy symptoms had worn off, I worried my self endlessly. I was absouloutely terrified of going into my 20 week scan as I felt so unpregnant!

I just looked fat & bloated although with ms I had managed to lose nearly a stone at that point!

even when I started telling people after my 12 week scan loads said "i never would have guessed"

Im hoping the same will happen this time as I have only been back at work for 4 weeks & have found out im pregnant again - dont know how im going to break it to them!

Apart from the odd bout of tiredness and some spots (which I could have put down to chocolate ) I had nothing around 12 weeks. After about 14 I started to gag at random smells (dirty bin, yummy banana cake) for a week or two. Now at 20 weeks I'm just starting to show and to feel it move and putting a bit of weight on.

I had a panic at the start of this week cause my friend is due the same week as me (just after me though!) and has, like you say, a huge bump, loads of sickness and headaches, felt it from 12 weeks etc. You just have to not compare it with other people and count yourself lucky that you're not suffering like some.

This thread makes me feel so much better. Yes I know stuff can still go wrong but at least I know I am not alone in what I feel. Thanks all xxxxxxx
