Anyone reaching their due date but can't believe anything is going to happen?

I'm due today but to be honest, I don't believe baby is every going to come out. I'm not too huge and it feels so snug and comfortable in there, I just can't imagine going into labour any time soon. Anyone else experienced these feelings?

hi im not due until the 22nd but i do have the same feeling and i think that my waiting is gonna be a little bit longer than i thought

Im due on the 20th. Been getting lots of BH alately but I doubt he will be here before his due date. DD was 11 days lates so I wont be holding out much hope.

I feel the same as you (however, i do feel huge and very very uncomfortable). I just feel that it is never going to happen. The later it gets the more scared I get about the birth. I am 1 week overdue now and I feel really depressed. I have resigned myself to the induction that will happen in one week if nothing happens. This is not what I want because DS was induced and it was a traumatic experience. I just wanted everything to be natural this time!!

You never know Woose, the thought of induction could scare baby into coming. I went into labour the day I was meant to be induced with dd and had her the day after.

Hiya Expat, you got everything ready for baby?

Well I was having contractions last night. They were coming every 10 mins and lasting about 1 minute, so I was getting quite excited, however when I got up this morning and started moving around everything stopped which is so frustrating. Why do you think this happened?

I have got a sweep tomorrow and so maybe that will stat things off again. Fingers crossed

I am due today and not holding my breath! The annoying thing is I was never expecting anything to happen today but I started getting texts and emails off people yesterday saying things like 'good luck for tomorrow!', as if it was all set in stone!!

ME!! Due on the 20th and apparently the baby isn't anywhere near engaged. I'm walking everywhere in the hope that it'll get things moving.

Mine wasn't engaged at 38 weeks either - still not convinced that it is yet...
