pregnancy acne - does it mean I'm having a girl?

15 weeks now and quite a bit of acne - with ds1 and ds 2 I don't remember this - ?anyone had pregancy acne and had a girl?

Was covered in zits and had boy. was worth it tho

I've has terrible skin with two of my pregnancies - both boys.

My spots cleared up totally in pregnancy and I only get the occassional one now - I have a gorgeous two year old girl.

i usually have bad skin that is prone to the odd erruption

anyway both pregnancies skin cleared for the duration and both boys.

Not heard that one before but have had really bad spots around my mouth and jaw and am expecting a girl

Yes, it means you're definitely having a girl. Or a boy...

I have one of each and there was no difference.

Yes, it has been scientifically proven that zitty pregnant women invariably have girls.

I usually have greasy skin prone to lots of shininess and odd spots and I am 37.

During both pgs my skin was normal/dry with no spots - and I had two little girls.

Hi I know exactly what you mean i am 16 weeks pregnant and have the worst acne ever!I've had 3 boys had a abit of bad skin but that was nothing compared to this!I find out the sex of my baby next week hopefully as am booked in for a scan so i will let you know if theres any truth to the old wives tale about acne meaning your carrying a little girl!

Nope, i had briliant skin when I was pregnant with my DD, and was quite spotty beforehand. Now pregnant with a DS and my skin is terrible. So I'm experiencing the same symptoms as half the posters above. So you could be having a boy. Or a girl.

I've got boy boy girl and my girl pregnancy was the only one I had spots with.
Could just be coincidence.
