Can i Scan my Scan pictures?

My Scan pictures are heat sensitive, i know you aren't suposed to laminate them.... but can i scan them onto the computer without ruining them?

i'd hate them to turn black & me not have any record of the scan, yet friends & family are dying to see our little acrobat!

We scanned ours and they were fine

Nearly 5 years on and they're still fine

Do you know if yours were heat sensitive, as the sonographer made a bit deal about telling me they were, as if it was a new thing and they'd just changed it or something?

I always take pictures of mine with our disital camera

apparently they really fade with time, so you're probbly best off getting them scanned now

Yes, you can scan them -- in fact, as kraftwerkkittie says, you really should scan them as the originals will fade to nothing over time.

With DS we were told that they wer heat sensitive and that you can scan them but you cant photocopy them. We scanned ours and they were fine.

I scanned mine & put them in a photobook on photobox.com & they came out fine.

I heard that they fade in time so wanted to preserve them. Our photobook has my scan photos, bump pictures and the first few days of my Sons life and is a great momento.

My mum wanted a copy of our scan photo so we photocopied it but the detail wasnt that great, the heat didnt seem to effect the origonals either.
