Hiya,

Baby due on saturday but i have had no signs AT ALL that this baby is even going to come remotely soon. No braxton hicks (havent had once of these for about 3 weeks), no feeling to 'nest' nothing

At the mw appointment 1 and half weeks ago head was still only 3/5 engaged, the same as it was about a week prior to that.

I havent felt the baby 'push' down into my pelvis, i feel the same at 39 weeks pregnant as i did at 20 weeks pregnant. NOTHINGS CHANGED and im beginning to feel like this is never going to end!!!!!

The baby is still extremely active and i was told when shes ready to come the movements will slow down as she will be properly engaged but this seems to not be happening.

Any ideas AT ALL to get things moving? I dont think i can put up with this much longer!!

Re 'nesting' ... I am still waiting for that and my children are 8 and 4

Nothing useful to say though ... just sending hugs {{{}}}

Ummm, sorry, but, er, you do realise you might have another 3 weeks of being PG (depressing as that thought might be). To add to my less than helpful reply, IME bugger all gets things going. That baby will come when its good and ready - and that's the right time.

So, I suggest you make the most of the last few weeks! If this is your first, get plenty of rest, read a book, get your nails done (a bit of grooming before the birth makes you feel slightly less like a sack of shite afterwards ) and enjoy the little things, like peace, going to the loo in your own time, and on your own, dinners with your partner if you have one, hot dinners full stop, hot cups of tea...

Sorry to not to have better news, but soon enough you'll have your daughter and its a whole different ball game Good luck.

Make the most of it! I'm 40+4 and still no signs of anything happening, so I'm going out doing things I'll find more difficult after the baby comes.
