I put a discussion up on here on thursday asking if anyone else had experienced severe stitches muscle ache below their ribs! Mine got worse and was doubled up, really felt like was going to split in half! Rang Addenbrookes and they told me to go in in case it was Braxton Hicks. Had all the checks and was fine (except for slight infection and low iron levels but nothing to worry about) told to rest and was wondering if all my exercise helped to bring it on. Am now resting, no gym, no nothing.
Only thing is I would like to take an iron supplement (been taking Pregnacare) any suggestions? Do I have to go to doctors as midwife didn't think it was an issue.

Spatone in orange juice. GPs prescription ones are foul and make your poo green. Spatone you can get from Tescos, and as it's liquid it works alot better than cheap prescription tablets.

ooh - Floradix is brilliant. You can get it in Sainsbury's about £7 a bottle. It's a liquid herbal iron and vitamin b suplement and really gentle on your stomach. i took it for slight anaemia while i was pregnant and iron levels were fine by blood test a week or 2 later and i felt sooooo much better

you can also take floradix in tablet form - I find them far more palatable then in liquid form. I'm taking floradix daily and feel very well during this pregnancy.

Floradix is great - even though it looks like a huge bottle of BabyBio.
