chinchi · 24/09/2008 13:47

Im 28 weeks today and was in bed lastnight by 10.30, and by 9pm the night before!

I was wondering this, I am 28 weeks, and not totally knackered yet, wondering when it gets really bad....

zazen · 24/09/2008 13:54

About week 37 - it's when I noticed I wanted dinner followed by a cake 5 times a day also!! I just couldn't get enough sleep or carbs - I put on about a stone in 4 weeks, couldn't really sleep though as bladder was tiny. Was mind numbingly exhausted.

At 29 weeks, you might be low in iron. I recommend you take spatone in orange juice daily.

The first trimester was trying in a different way - I think it's because you're growing the placenta and baby.

With DD1 I felt great until the day after I gave birth This time I felt shattered from about 27/28 weeks.

Aubergenie · 24/09/2008 15:18

I'm 39+1 and it's really hit me in the last few days. I'm lucky as it's my first and I can lounge around all day. Hats off to all those of you who do it with other children!

cupsoftea · 24/09/2008 15:19

The day I thought good three weeks resting before dd is born - she was born that day!!!

expatinscotland · 24/09/2008 15:21

i've been okay with this one, even despite the anaemia.

with both my older girls, however, it was dreadful from about 27 weeks.

sunshine185 · 24/09/2008 16:49

spatone with orange juice every morning has really helped me. at 24 weeks i was diagnosed mildly anemic.

boots is doing buy 2 get 3 spatone or any other vits!

zazen · 25/09/2008 09:24

yes spatone is great as it doesn't bung you up and it's mild so everyday is fine to take it. You'll feel the difference in a week.

I still take spatone one week before my period (remember those?) and it helps me as well. Will nip up to boots pronto - thanks for the tip sunshine!
Good luck Aubergine, put your feet up when you can

I was knackered the whole of my pregnancy. Could have slept for England.

FeelingLucky · 25/09/2008 09:53

It never really did in the 3rd trimester ... but then I did indulge myself with loads of naps and reading in bed.

lizziemun · 25/09/2008 10:07

From day one, never had morning sickness just unable to keep my eyes open for more then 30mins at a time .

Blood tests come back all normal.
