Sac proper size but embryo too small

Hi, I don't know if anyone can help me or not. At my 7 week scan last week (after 4 miscarriages, 2 of which were missed), the pregnancy sac measured normal size but the embryo was a couple of weeks too small. It's not a case of getting my dates wrong as there's such a discrepancy in the size of the sac and the embryo. I have a follow-up scan tomorrow just to confirm it's a failing pregnancy, but wondered if anyone any any similar experiences?

Hi CountryGirl68, I am in the same situation as you. Yesterday my scan with 8w1d the sac measure normal size but the embryo was 1 1/2 week smaller, there was a hb but Dr. told me that I have 80 % chance of miscarriage. I'll have a foolow up next week. I am wondering what happened to you. This is difficult time (I feel like beel in a limbo... the unknow).
