This is my second pregnancy.
with my first pregnancy i gained 1 stone and 1 lb and had a healthy 8 lb 14 oz baby boy.
I'm 22 weeks now and have only gained 4 lb's my MW is happy that the baby is growing well and all the scans i have had show he is growing well also.
I know most mums to be would be happy with the small amount of weight gain but it keeps playing on my mind if there is an underlying problem.
I eat regular healthy meals so is the baby just taking all of the goodness.
What do you think?

I only gained 4 lbs in my first pregnancy between 12 and 40 weeks due to sickness and loss of appetite. Baby was 7lb 7oz and healthy. My mum actually lost weight in all her pregnancies and all 3 of us were over 8 lbs at birth.

I wouldn't worry. We are all different. A friend of mine is almost 7 months pregnant and has instead of gaining weight she has lost 5 kg!!!!As long as the baby is fine, there's no need to worry at all!

thanks ladies-i know it probably seems a daft thing to worry about. If i was sick or off my food i could understand it.
