Anyone had bleeding and cramps in early pg and gone on to have a healthy baby?

I know it's a long shot but am clutching at straws and wondered if anyone could reassure me that I have at least a little hope.

I know bleeding or cramps are not uncommon but not heard of the two together and then a healthy pg.

8 weeks pg after MC in March at 6 weeks. Been bleeding on and off for last 2 days. Cramps gatting worse. A few tiny (rice grain-sized clots) but mostly just bright red blood.

Has anyone gone through this and then had a healthy pregnancy...please?

Have scan tomorrow am and trying to rest until then - the waiting is killing me.

TIA

I've had bleeding in 3 out of my 4 pregnancies, one mc 3 healthy babies in fact the mc was the lightest bleeding of all at first. I didn't have cramps until the end.

I truly hope everything is fine for you

Thanks Kitty

I know bleeding is quite common. I have both cramps and bleeding. I know it doesn't sound good. Was just hoping someone would have some good news for me.

I had bleeding and severe cramping during my first pregnancy and my little one is almost 9 years old and very healthy. Just mention it to the doctor tho. I got an early scan due to bleeding and one or two due to bleeding afterwards.

Thanks mummy2000.

I have a scan tomorrow (sun) morning. If I'm true to myself, I think that baby has gone but it's good to know there may be a glimour of hope.

I've had bleeding in both pregnancies. I've got a healthy two year old and am almost 36 weeks into this pregnancy.

Last time I had 3 reasonably heavy bleeds, one heavy enough that my boss pointed out the blood on the leg of my trousers. No cause was found.

This time I as period like bleeds every month for the first 5 months and light spotting daily

Wishing you good news Jaamy. I bled early on quite a lot. Especially after going for a run or after sex. No clots, but definitely red blood.
I hope your scan goes well.

LuLuMacGloo · 20/09/2008 20:09

My best friend is a new mum to a beautiful lo having ad the most hideous pg. Was in an out of hospital for the entire 9 mths with all sorts of prob including bleeding, clots and blood, and cramps, basically contractions right from very early on. everytime she thought the worst but was absolutely fine in the end. So it could be fine. GOOD LUCK

Thank you all for your messages and stories of your LOs. It gave us some hope when we went in for the scan today.

Unfortunately baby had gone. Just the lining left which I have to go in to hospital to get removed later this week.

Thank you all once again for your positive stories and please give all your LOs a bigger hug when thye go to sleep tonight.
