Booking In Appointment today - what to ask?

Hi ladies,

I have my booking in appointment at the hospital today. I understand that it's basically just a formality to take blood and assess medical/family history, but was also wondering if there are any questions that I should be asking them at this stage (I'm 8+4)...?

I still find it hard to believe that I am actually PG (when will it sink in?!?!)...

If you have any strong preferences regarding birth eg homebirth etc may be worth mentioning, other than that go with the flow! You will be given loads of info to read through. You may want to ask what screening tests are available in your area, and who to contact if you have any concerns...they'll prob. tell you all that anyway though. Good Luck!
