Expecting my 2nd child. Had some preterm labour a few weeks ago and now one or more 'shows' a day at 34+5. I suspect this baby is in a hurry to see the world.

My 1st was born at 37 weeks.

How many of you had your 2nd child later into the pregnancy than first time round

Did any of you have preterm labour then go overdue or end up with and induction to get LO out?

DS was born at 38+3 so not pre-term but early.

DD was born at 40+4

both of my children were born at 38 weeks, Am 39+3 now, still no signs!

DS1 40+5 (induced)
DS2 41 (induced) after 7 weeks of contractions almost non-stop and shows bigger than broadway, and no actual sign of him coming on his own (despite the MW claiming at 38 weeks he'd be out by the end of the day )

The frustrating thing is no one can tell you when the baby will come (short of induction/CS) they come when they're ready.

DD1 was 33+4
DD2 was 38+2

dd born at 33+1
am now 33+1 so unless he/she comes tonight this one will be later!
doc convinced this one coming early too but i dont think so - just a "feeling"

My first was 37 weeks.
My second was 38 weeks.
Pregnant with 3rd, was sure it'd come early, has been really low for weeks, head currently engaged with only 1/5th palpable, been this way for ages, i'm now 40 weeks!

Thanks everyone. Just a couple of weeks left until this LO is officially full term so keeping my fingers crossed that she's comfy.
