I am booked to give birth there as inverclyde royal is a cmu now, i have to be in a consultant led unit due to heart problem. I was wondering how it was? I also have the option of any glasgow hosp its just further to travel though.

no need for travel kettles at RAH!, tea/coffee on tap! although not pepermint tea! i had dreadful trapped wind (cause of GA) and asked the midwives if on the off chance they had pepermint tea!! i think i made their day, they pissed themselves laughing!! then so did i thinking the NHS would have such a thing!!! :-)

my fate will be decided 7 october. the swelling isn't good, though.

i think the scans really have got my due date wrong, and if this one comes like his sisters, then he might be considered a 37-weeker, in which case i'd be medivac'd to RAH, anyway.

i've got my peppermint tea packed already!

and all my 'potions' as DH calls them.

lavender oil in water and witch hazel, both in spray bottles, are other saviours.
