help...my friend been bleedin for over a week

and its become worse...and she is gettin pain
went hosp they gave her painkillers and otld here to coem back sunday for a check

she is 12 weeks pregnant

is this a possible miscarriage?

that's horrible that she is being made to wait, poor thing. I hope it will be good news tomorrow. Have heard lots of women bleed and go on to have healthy baby. I suffered loads of spotting, my DD is 1 next week.

It is a possible miscarriage but if you want a positive story.
I started bleeding at 11 weeks. Sometimes I would have spurts where it was like weeing blood the rest of the time it was like having a period. Along with a few other complications I went on to have my baby at 27 weeks and she is now a determined little 2 year old.
