Discount Pushchairs

Just a quick question does anyone know of any good discount shops in London I know of Kiddicare but that is a bit far out.

You can buy online from Kiddicare and the Glasgow Pram Centre also sell online and are very cheap. I can't remember which we got our puschair from as we looked at both but it was significantly cheaper than in the shops.

If you're keen on Mamas & Papas pushchairs, you could try Baby Direct (near Basildon), 1-5 Arterial Road, Laindon, Basildon, Essex SS15 6DR [Tel: 01268 543329]. It's worth making a trip there as the items in stock are on display. I was there 3 weeks ago and in general, they offer around 10-15% discount.

If you have pinned down THE pushchair you want, I strongly recommend you ring Lesters Discount Nurseryworld. I've purchased 5 pushchairs for myself, family and friends from them and they offered the best deal. Their delivery charges is fair too. So far, they offer about 20% discount. They're based in Manchester and delivery to central London for one set of pushchair is around GBP15. I don't remember what time they open but they close at 5PM. It's best to ring them during weekdays as they're very busy at the weekends.
