Painful sex @ 39 weeks - means anything?

Hiya
last night we attempted some sex and it was a bit sore - not awful (in fact I carried it on just to get those prostaglandins lol) but it felt like it was banging my cervix or something. Is this something to worry about or could it be a good sign that the cervix is softening?

I would imagine it's hard to breathe at 39 weeks, let alone do the deed!

Yeah it's not so easy...and the heartburn is a bit distracting...but I'm a trooper!
