Booked in with midwife yeaterday and when having discussion about food to be avoided i mentioned that i was on decaf coffee and limitibg chocloate cos of increased risk of m/c.(i'm at risk. She advised that should eat Dark Organic Chocolate as it contains many trace elements that are of beneit to pregnant women...good news at last. Anybody else heard this one?

Yes, its true. But I can't stand dark choc - like the creamy milky stuff, and white! Sods law!!

I meant to reply to this ages ago! I have read that dark chocolate is good to eat anytime (if it has at least 65% cocoa). Its only the milk stuff that isn't good because its full of sugar and fat. Dark chocolate has lots of minerals in it that are good for women and something in it that makes you feel good as well!!!!
