Does this sound like restless legs?

well, it's restless toes actually

I'm 30 weeks pregnant and for the last week or so, whenever I am sitting down, my feet have been getting really hot and then I get a sensation like my toes are trying to curl themselves up. It isn't cramp, and it's not a particularly unpleasant experience, but this goes on for hours and is starting to drive me a little bit potty.

Never had restless legs in my other two pregnancies, so not sure what the symptoms are.

Any experience of this, and is there anything I can do to stop it?

thanks

no, 28 week bloods came back fine.

Someone suggested it might have something to do with calcium deficiency.

Never just had it in my toes but I get it a lot. It does sound like restless legs (or at least restless toes

I have heard it can be down to zinc, calcium or magnesium deficiency. I found foot massages and someone pulling my legs helped a bit. And raising your legs on a cool pillow - that helped a bit too.

You have my sympathies.

It's not an unpleasant sensation (think that toe curling moment when having a jolly nice time with one's DP )....but going on for hours at a time it gets to be a bit tedious.

I'll mention it to the MW next appointment, but it doesn't look like there's much I can do about it.......except maybe MN a little less!

I sort of know what you mean but when you have it in your legs it isn't quite as, urm, not unplesant!

Not much you can do thought I don't think but worth mentioning.

here's hoping it isn't going to spread upwards to my legs though; I spend enough of the night tossing and turning as it is.
