someone please sympathise or make me feel better...im huuuuugggee and feeling bit down..

Im 27 weeks with number 2. Im not tall and quite petite so i know that when your small your baby doesnt have as much room inside you etc etc but my body is so big its ridiculous. Ive had a big bump from very early on and baby is measuring fine for the weeks. He is head down with his feet under the right hand side of my ribs laying on his side and has been like this for ages...

Every one keeps saying i look further along and i honestly look like im about to drop as im carrying very low again. Its getting me abit down as i have 3 months and he has to triple his body weight until hes born. I know theres room for him and i KNOW what im doing is special etc etc but this is crazy. My belly is just ridiculously big...

My sympathies I am overdue now (40+4) so at least it should be over soon but I just feel completely ridiculous, as if I'm wearing clown shoes all the times or something. My baby is a right sider as well and my ribs on that side are well sore.

my dh just tole me he doesnt think im that big but i know he just trying make me feel better. I just wish time would hurry up. its embarrasing when people ask me how long ive got left, sometimes i feel like lying when its strangers!! I dont obv.. but im sick of it, poor you being overdue.. i was 2 weeks early with ds and i honestly dont think ill go to 40 weeks this time either so maybe ill just keep focusing on that!

I know how you're feeling mad4! I'm pg with DC3 and I'm SICK of people saying "oh have you still got 10 weeks go to? you're enormous"

Oh I had all this 'you look massive' thing, everyone says it, it's because they're not used to seeing you with a bump that's all, it's not because they're basing it on anything!

LOL it is so true! I feel like putting a big sticker on my head saying 'do NOT ask me how long i have left and yes there IS only one baby in there'

Totally had the twins/triplets gags from everyone at work, bless them, I think people are desparate to talk about you being pregnant but don't actually have anything to say!

I've done the same myself, before I was pregnant I used to tell people they had a really good bump and looked big, but I was under the impression that people wanted to hear that they were big - ie their baby was growing really well etc, but I've since found out that it's not the done thing! Personally I've always liked people saying that I'm big, I just equate it to a healthy baby for some reason.

never would have guessed you had your scan tomorrow! How exciting! I carried very low with ds1 and this one.... you never know!
