Recently I had a twenty week scan. Baby looks fine, but the scanner was concerned by my placenta. He advised that I come back at a later date to check for placenta accreta - where the placenta doesn't detach from the womb. Anyone else had this picked up at the scan? And then everything turned out fine? Or if not fine, what did happen. It was only a suggestion - but it has still got me worried. Seems nothing much can be done at this stage.
