22 weeks .... something weirds just happened ..

I just had some really painful braxton hicks, my first ones upto now. They were quite sore and I could feel my tummy go hard, then I felt really sick like I was going to physically vomit, still feel nauseated now.

Never had this before, this pregnancy or any others.

Reassure me Im ok! lol

Hmm. I'd give the hospital a ring and ask them. Are you OK?

I have had some very painful braxton hicks this pregnancy. It is my 2nd and I didn't have them like this the first time round. They are bad enough to make it hard to breathe, but apparently completly normal.

Can you ring and just run it past your midwife or hospital though?

If it happens again then I really would give them a call so they can advise you. A check over won't hurt. I'd give them a call now actually.

What bit are you worried about, the BH or the sickness afterwards? I've not had any BH at all, but I've certainly felt sickly when the baby has been moving - like motion sickness.

Opps, pressed post before finishing! Meant to say 'like my stomach being left behind' rather than motion sickness/car sick.

It may be nothing, but if it's never happened before, I would phone your midwife.

Urinary infections and dehydration can sometimes cause braxton hicks.

I did go to the loo after wards so maybe it was that

if it happens again I will mention it, baby has been kicking all day so she is fine.
