is it advisable to abseil at 7 weeks pregnant?

It was booked ages ago and I really want to do it...can't really see the risk as I'm only 7 weeks pregnant but what does anyone else think? Or any medical mumsnetters out there who can give me their opinion? Thanks!

I skiied and mountain biked at 7 weeks, but not anything that needed a harness. The baby is well within your pelvic cavity at 7 weeks, should be OK - shouldn't get squashed!

Hello! I'm 6 weeks pregnant with my first and work at a high ropes course and am in a pickle as to what to do for the best. Everyone tells me to go with how I feel, but I really don't know how I feel! The work is quite strenuous, and involves working in a harness. I want to pull my weight, but also be cautious for my baby. It seems a bit of grey area. Any help, people??

I should doubt that abseiling is actually advisable at all. Pregnant or not!
