Am I mad for not having the 16 weeks bloods done - 3rd pregnancy and aged 33?

I didn't with DD1 or DD2 as I find them terrifying, you know, if they came back with high odds of downs etc, I really don't know if I would go ahead with an Amnio (friend's baby died in utero after having amnio),

Am I not the only one to go ahead and not have these tests done?

I'm pregnant with second child and didn't have blood test (I'm 35). As others have said, I knew I wouldn't be prepared to have any further testing or termination so seemed no point subjecting myself to extra worry. Hope all goes well for you.
