I'm sure this has been on previous topics but I can't find it doing a search. I'm 35+3 and having progressively worse heartburn and acid reflux. Eating packets of Rennies or equivalent and swigging gaviscon is no longer working. Is it ok to take ranitidine (zantac)? It says to consult your doctor on the data sheet, but I'm sure other people on here have said they have taken it on their doctor's advice. Please tell me it's ok, because before I read the data sheet, I took one and it worked a treat!!!

My GP prescibed them last pregnancy - worked a treat.
