RIB PAIN - RHS REALLY KILLING ME - ANY ADVICE?

Been to docs today after suffering for weeks now with RHS rib pain, like a stabbing pain front and back, will be referred to pysio in few wks but any short term advice? hurts to sit, am 25 wks

Poor you. I've had something similar. Could it not be a muscle? Large boobs?

Me too! Ribs are really aching, hurts to sleep on my sides, can't sleep on my front and not meant to sleep on my back!

Could it be rib splay? i.e. the ribs being pushed apart by the growing baby? I had this when pregnant with DS1, at about the stage you're at, and I'd cry with the pain. It was worst at night though and lasted about two weeks. I only found out later that I would have been ok to take co-codamol for the pain.

Thinktomuch - that sounds likely, it does feel like my ribs are being pushed out....
