Miscarriage 5 weeks ago & think I'm pregnant again

Hi, I'm new to this so haven't mastered the acronyms yet, sorry for the length.

5 weeks ago I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks It didn't go well & after a week of contractions and lots of blood I ended up in hospital for surgical evacuation. Two weeks later I was in the clinic for a f/u check & nurse thought I'd been ovulating that week because of symptoms. I'm now wondering if I'm pregnant again or just due my period. I'm feeling the same way I did when I was pregnant: exhausted, slightly swollen boobs, occasional dizzy spells, upset tummy. I've had two positive home tests, but the lines were faint. I'm not sure if this is preg hormone on the way out or if I'm 3 weeks pregnant. Also had a little white crusting on the nipples (which I had when I was preg).
Can anyone tell me if they had these symptoms after a miscarriage? Haven't been to docs yet. Thanks

I got pregnant again 17 days after miscarrying in December.

You could well be testing too early - how many days dpo are you? (sorry - days past ovulation)

I am due in 4 weeks

It is totally possible that you are (fingers crossed) but I just wanted to say that I tested positive for at least 4 weeks after surgical evacuation of a silent miscarriage at 11 weeks.

It might be wise to book a scan for a few weeks time.

Thanks everyone for taking the time to respond. I have posted on the miscarriage section too. I think I must be 5 weeks post ovulation becaroo. I think I'll need to speak to the doc about it and see what he suggests. I've had two positive tests but it would mean that I was literally ovulating about 4 days after surgery. I'm just not sure what's going on. My boobs have definitely swelled up but in the last few days I've felt very emotional (tearful at watching the olympics!) so I don't know if this is me heading for a period or hormonone changes due to pregnancy. Last time I didn't know I was pregnant until I was 6/7 weeks so I can't recall how I was hormonally at that time.

Well, I think I should see my GP and see what happens.

your gp should be able to send you to have quantitive tests done on your blood or urine. thet way they'll be able to see if the hcg is increasing or decreasing, if it's on the up you're pregnant.
