27 weeks and measuring 34cm!!

like the title says I am measuring 7cm in advance of how many weeks I am!!

got measured by the doc yesterday, but my consultant isnt back till Tuesday!! when I have to go see him

so any ideas why I am so big?

Might be polyhydramnios - lots too much amniotic fluid. I had it. Have a search on here for old threads. Usually not serious but might mean scans and you having to stop working earlier than you intended (because you'll get so uncomfortable).

Of course it might not be that at all - I'm no expert but that's why I measured big for dates.

I was also going to say Polyhydramnious as I had it with my dd. I was huge, measuring 47cm at 36 weeks.

Dd born at 39 weeks and not tiny at 9lb 4oz but most of my bump was indeed fluid.

Where do you measure from to? I'm 27 weeks also, bet this one is a big'un as last one was 9lb 11oz

If its underneath the bra to the pubic bone i'm 44cm, like I say, I bake big ones

Snap! As of an appt 10 days ago I was measuring 6 weeks ahead and I know that will only get bigger as the weeks go on. I make reasonable sized babies for my height, I'm 5ft 1in and have had 2ds's 8lb 1oz and 7lb 13oz. With ds1 there was ALOT of fluid. They physically broke my waters and were under prepared and ended up having to mop up when the fluid cascaded everywhere, lol! I am only 30 weeks now and already quite uncomfortable but have a scan booked for 2nd September anyway to check babys heart again, so they will check on growth then too.

Seriously - from under bra to pubic bone?
I am 24 weeks and measure 40cm when standing up/36cm when lying down
dd was 8lb 9oz and I did apparantly have 'an inordinate amount of water' last time according to mw.
