Just had a bit of green/clear mucous, more than normal but not loads. I'm 36+5. Thanks!

doesnt sound like it, my show was clear with streaks of blood in it and bout handful. I'd get gp appoinment though as i think something green could be an infection dont take my word for this. phone nhs direct they might be helpful x

Anything green should be checked out. I would ring the hospital for advice

Oh ok that's disappointing! Will call midwife in the morning. Doubt it's infection as I feel absolutely fine was hoping it was some sort of something...

I had a show like this - a bit like snot !

I asked about it and was completely normal. I think it was abut a week from the first little bit of show to labour starting, maybe a bit less.

I asked people on MN at the time and was given lots of reassurance, so don't worry!

Oh dear, didn't mean to post three times....oops!

Sounds like a show to me - but don't get too excited - you may still have to wait weeks to go into labour!

orangehead · 20/08/2008 21:20

What did the midwife say?

ObsidianBlackbirdMcNight · 20/08/2008 21:22

It could be but it could be normal discharge. Nothing to worry about either way.
Disappointing!
