You know when you are having those 'can't remember when I felt it move' moments

What do you do to wake your baby up?

drink coffee? icy drinks?

Just wondering

Hehe, i'll keep my secret to myself then! In UK i think it is 300mg a day they say no more......thats 3 cups of coffee or 6 cups of tea. I used to love tea and switched to de-caff when we were TTC but as soon as i was pg, that was it - couldnt even look at it! Havent had a cup since and am now 26 weeks! A couple of sips or red bull is alright - not ideal but hey, shes happy, lol.

When my baby wouldn't move at the scan (they needed to look at her face), they made me drink hot chocolate...go for a walk...jump up and down...and then they pressed my tummy like merry hell. None of these worked. But I find if I lie on my left side, then after about 30 seconds move onto my tummy, then after another 30 seconds move back again, it gets her rocking about.

Try to sleep. That always wakes 'em up.

At the hospital when they wanted to wake the baby up to monitor heart rate etc they always said a really cold drink would do it. But I found the most effective way was to eat a packet of sweets in one go. I had to give that habit up though as I didn't get a minutes peace for hours if I did that.
