Hi, a friend of mine is 10 wks pg, and has had some brown blood loss. she has been for a scan and it shows baby is only 6 wks which she works out to be impossible.
Has anyone had this happen and has there been a positive outcome?
she has to go back in a week to see if its grown.

BTW - I meant sorry no experience at all not no positive outcome, realised how that looked once I had posted it!!

Good luck.....

brown blood could be implantation . brown is old blood. as far as small size of baby on scan could she have ovulated later than she thought. good luck with her next scan

thank you, she seems sure of her dates, but it is of course possible that se is later than she thinks, if she's out a week and the scans out a week it could all become more normal.
