Hi, having just found out i am 5+3 pg again after losing my daughter at full term in March, I am kind of excited but really nervous too. My dd was nicknamed Baby Bump (original ).

I feel i want to bond with this one as much as possible (maybe just in case this is the only time i get) so we have nicknamed the bump already although there is obviously not a bump there yet, we have decided on "Cookie" as all I want to eat is Maryland Cookies and we are hoping for a sunshine princess or prince (Cookie Monster - Sugar Puff advert) so it all ties in.

Do any of you have nicknames for your bumps and how did you get them?

sorry to hear about yur daughter and congratulations on your pregnancy. wishing all the best for you all.

DS christened my bump virgil (after the thunderbirds) as he thought it would be a great name for the baby if it was a boy. We all call the bump virgil now, and at 28 weeks I'm starting to worry that it's going to stick.

we just call it "baby"... how unoriginal. They should have bump name books and websites in addition to baby names

mine's called 'froggy' as he/she has long legs (mum and dad are 6ft)

Mine's called Squirmy as he's very energetic!
My MIL thinks this is a fab name and wants to call him Squirmy even after he's born - I suspect I will too during nappy changes etc!

I'm hoping that with 4 weeks to go he'll calm down a bit but no luck so far - and this was the point that my BIL and SIL started calling theirs 'Thumpy McBloodAxe'...
