i would like to ask a question for a friend. is it safe to be put to sleep for teeth extracted whilst pregnant. ive never had this problem so not really sure of the answer? x

I was due to have 3 wisdom teeth out 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant. I cancelled - I don't think anaethatists (sp) will put pregnant women under unless absolutely necessary.

Having said that having to look after a toddler when you've just had your teeth out is a challenge.

No I don't think they will give you a general anaesthetic for tooth extractions if you are pregnant. Under local anaesthetic yes.
