Early Period or Implantation Bleeding?

My period should be due tomorrow...2 wks ago tomorrow - approx mid cycle, did 'the deed' so could possibly have conceived. A week ago tomorrow, started light bleeding (browny, pinky) which got a little redder on Friday and led me to believe that it must be my period come a week early. But over the weekend since Saturday morning the bleeding has returned to being very light and more brown than red. Am wondering if it could be implantation bleeding - can it go on for nearly a week?? Did do a preg test on Fri and again yesterday, but both negative. Were done late in the day, not first thing - am also wondering if I did them too early. Would love to be pg again - am I kidding myself that I could be pg and this bleeding is implantation, or could it be my period which is taking ages to get going (that sometimes happens in my cycle and do not have heavy bleeding straight away). Thanks for any advice.

I would say that if it is not usual for you cycle than it is a possibility? Would wait and see what happens personally. If it stops then wait till you are 'late' and then test again in case it was too early.

Only time will tell. I had a similar situation when TTC, but it turned out that I wasn't pregnant that month, but did get pregnant straight after. I went through the first 13 weeks of hte pregnancy wondering if I was 1 month further on, but the dating scan showed me as the following month. In fact I actually wondered myself until the end - but DS was 12 days late and induced - LOL Definately not then!

Chill, if it's not, there is always next month. Your body is obviously doing something unusual, getting ready maybe????

Thanks for your posts - awoke this morning to find a full on period has crept on . As you say, maybe there will be a next time....just a bit sad as been trying after recovering from a mc ealier in the year. It just makes you wonder if it will ever happen again. Anyhow, at least I have been blessed with 1 dd, so what will be will be !

HI all I am new to this....
Just going out my mind but needed to ask anyway anyone who could help!
Last Sat-Sun I noticed some light pink spotting and was hopeful that it maybe implantation bleeding..but then on Monday I bgean period 8 days before period due. It lasted for 2-3 days which is unusual for me since I last for 4-5 days. I took a preg test and was -ve. Not sure what to do sine trying but don't know when I am going to ovulate etc...plus now havw a sodden cold!
any ideas what to do or what it was!
