We had an angel care alarm as our daughter was premature and tbh it was the best thing we could have had, it gave us such reassurance.

We'll definatly use it again.

we also had hte angelcare. absolutely brilliant - I'd never have slept without it - stopped me being an anxious wreck!

i would recommenf bt digital monitor is green and white really great sound is so clear and no crackling or disturbance atall.

avoid the tomy rubbish we bought for £60.

we also bought the bt digital monitor - you can talk to the baby remotely - or to your DH/ DP as in " can I have a cuppa please?". Also son tends to go to sleep with one of the lullabies on -the Brahms one, so cultured! - so it helps reassure him if we are away from home.

we had a tommee tippee (?) clear sound with a pad that went under the mattress which we found very reassuring, picks up the noise of every snuffle. bit of pfb syndrome though, we lived in a tiny terraced house and he was very healthy and i would still prod him regularly to make sure he was okay.

Anglecare with the mat, it was a godsend in terms of a goods nights sleep. U
sed for both
dc's and dd is neraly 7.

We also had Bt monitor after 2 x crappy tomy ones !

vonsudenfed · 11/08/2008 20:39

Bt monitor also - but improved by buying some better rechargable batteries for it, so it stays charged for longer.

We have the Avent digital monitor and its brilliant.

The temp display on the parent unit has been really good with the hot weather.

We have a Philips that is really good for when dd naps upstairs. I may buy the Tommee Tippee one that Argos have for £50 for when dd moves into her room as it has a sensor pad and I would prefer the reassurance.
