It was chalk for me - I have to confess, I actually did eat some. I had to limit it to a nibble a day in the car on the way home from work. I could still have some now and LO is 4 months old.

Oh and I could have licked the floor of a building site.

I love that smell of roadworks - just as they're laying new tarmac. Could stand there all day.
Also been caught drinking balsamic vinegar.

I ate an entire lemon (rind and all) at Waitrose.

And insisted on going to a motorcycle race as the smell of 2 stroke was lovely...

i had the sponge obsession aswell with all 3 of my pregnancies although it was worst the first time round .i used to soak them in cold water and the drink the water from them ,licking, smelling, biting and actually eating some bits BUT it had to be baby sponges not them horrible holey ones!!!! bizzare

Count your blessings. My grandmother craved (and ate) ashes from the fireplace. To this day she retches when she sees ashes.

I really wanted to eat firelighters too!!

oh i loved the smell of them and i loved the smell of petrol, baaaddd i know but i had to keep filling up the car dh was really upset with me over that.
Also i kept going to the garden shed to smell the petrol lawnmower i remember a shampoo my mum used to have called polytar it was a treatment for eczema and it smelled like firelighters, i used to wash my hands with it and sit and sniff them!

I have no cravings this time yet but i am wondering what it will be if i so get them.

For me it's ice ice baby. I can't get enough of it. The crunching is driving DH loopy. I'm taking iron but the craving hasn't stopped.
