Not ready for maternity clothes but what size to buy?

I am 8.5wks , originally a size 10, Im finding my 10 trousers and even some 12s are getting tight. In a week or two most of my work trousers will be redundant!

I really need some advice as to what to buy in the way of work clothes.

I was going to buy some size 14 trousers but didnt really know how long they might last and I dont want to waste money.

Should I go straight to maternity trousers?

Any advice please

I found underbump stuff looks better and good early on but digs in a bit when you get bigger especially when bending down

I cant do links but there is a shop on ebay that sells under the bump 'topshop skinny jeans' (should come up if you put that in the search) they are dark coloured and £9.99 Buy it now. I bought a pair and am wearing them today - very comfy and look like normal ones.

i went straight to maternity @ 8 wks alot bigger this time round.
have a long denim skirt that goes over bump, and another long colourful over the bump skirt plus a shorter thinner summer over the bump skirt.
2 pairs of under the bump trousers
i have 2 maternity tshirts from 1st pregnancy mostly wearing normal tshirts and smock tops which are great as long

Thanks Tink

Seems the best idea is to get a few things and see how it goes. I've got a long body so normal tops arent generally long enough at the best of times! So will get some maternity t-shirts too I think.

This is the style I have found most comfortable. Over the bump fall down and I found the under the bump with buttons at the side dug in when I got bigger. I also found I could wear them earlier. Also a pair of dungarees for lounging round the house are heaven.

Ebay is great for maternity clothes as they are all hardly worn.

Maternity trousers are so comfy.
This is my 2nd pregnancy.I had a pair of maternity jeans from my first pg. I tried them on, late in my first trimester. Same size (14) as I normally wear.
But they are so comfy. I was cross with myself for not wearing them earlier.
One you wear, you won't want anything else. Beleive me.

Oh yes and there are sales. I have a pair of Blooming Marvellous jeans. With big material bit at the front. They were reduced to £9.99 on their website sale, the other week. Fab.
