Been asked to book in for a 'stretch and sweep' for the 15th (EDD +7) - does it matter if I book for 18th?

That's about it really, am 39+ 5 today but MW asked me (I think because they get booked up quick) to book in for this a week past due date (15th) but i'd much rather (although it doesn't really matter...) it happened on the 17th or 18th (I doubt they do it on Sundays though). It that too late/risky etc? Or doesn't it really matter? I think I had it done on EDD + 7 last time, then inducted on EDD +9 and DS born on EDD + 10, so maybe it's leaving being inducted too late? Thanks if you can help

I would say its fine to wait till the 18th. Round here they dont even consider inducing till 40+14 unless theres a medical reason so definatley not too late! Its your body you tell them when!
