Help me buy a moses basket please!

I'm trying to find a moses basket online, but there's too much choice!

Are the £80 any safer/better than the £25 ones? Is there anything in particular that I should be looking for? Can anyone recommend a specific one, or one to avoid please?

I have a moses basket from mamas& papas and I love it. Very good quality.

You should not get one with a plastic mattress as it isn't breathable or absorbant. That is the problem with some of the cheaper ones.

I'd avoid buying one altogether, they're a bugger to store.

Can you borrow one and buy a new, washable matress?
