Urgent question re: braxton hicks..........

.......I am currently 33 weeks pregnant yesterday and this morning I have been having strong BH approx: every 2 mins - and occasionally some pain.

Is that normal? I had BH with my ds but not like this!

Are you ill at all? Dehydration can cause this to happen. Also urinary tract infections.

You should contact your midwife and ask her advise to be on the safe side.

I seemed to go through a few weeks of having really strong braxton hicks around 30 - 33 weeks this time around. Try resting, drinking more water and relaxing for a bit if possible and see what happens? Mine have definitely been stronger and more noticeable (and occasionally painful) this time around. Sometimes they have been so strong I have been physically sick with them. Baby is still in there at 35 weeks though so touch wood!
