Weird pain down there - is it just the baby's head pressing down?

I'm nearly 31 weeks. Have been getting an occasional pain as if something is pushing against my cervix/vagina - is this what it feels like when baby is head down and just getting a bit heavier? It's only mildly uncomfortable and I've had no change in discharge/bleeding etc. pregnancy has been very normal so far. have read about buzzing/pressure but this doesn't really feel like that. could it be that baby has its feet down there? have felt lots of kicking in tummy and baby was head down at last check and at 22 week scan. Any ideas??

Obviously another check at 32 weeks so can ask my MW then but was hoping an MNer might reassure me... TIA

Ouch ouch ouch - the knitting needle effect. I keep getting this now at 35 weeks and it stops me in my tracks - quite amusing to see the look of horror on peoples faces though lol. I think baby is popping in and out of my pelvis as sometimes i have days when i dont want to walk due to this - then i go for ages without.

But yes head on cervix. Lovely.
