Oh yes, the 'poo pain', I remember it well. Spent hours trying to go to the loo before I realised what it was Ring the midwife / hospital Natalie and good luck, sounds like it's happening!

giddykipper · 30/07/2008 18:10

Good luck!

could be start of it. if you are feeling unwell too call the MW

if it is the start of labour, you would be better of at home, in the bath, relaxing and resting, if all is well

make syre you are eating and drinking

starlight,can you CAT me please?

CuckooClockWiseCrack · 30/07/2008 18:17

they feel like period pains, but worse, and in waves that come and go in their intensity.

CuckooClockWiseCrack · 30/07/2008 18:18

OH yes, I also thought I need to do a poo, for about 2 hours..... it never showed up though.

Natalie1984 · 30/07/2008 18:46

I know this is now a bit late as you are probably in the bath already, but, a cautionary tale....
When going for the prescribed bath do not get stuck.
Furthermore, do not decide the only way to get out is to drain all the water out first.
This will lead to you having to be hauled out in a very undignified fashion by DP / passing helpful person and then carted off to hospital in a state.
