Hello all,

A friend of mine suggested rubbing Jasmine Oil into your bump can help to bring on labour (her MW told her about it).

Now I have bought some but unsure whether to use it - some sites say avoid some say can be used in labour, some say nothing at all.

I phoned my MW but she didn't know & suggested I contact a Reflexologist or something to ask.

The lady I bought it from states on her site that she is an aeromotherapist (sp) & that it can be rubbed on the lower back during labour.

I'm 39 weeks, getting strong BHs, some crampy pains etc & don't know whether to give the JO a go or not??

i've never heard of that.

it is quite strong and i'd never use it undiluted.

i think i'd give sex, a glass of wine, driving on a bumpy road, walking sideways up a stairway and raspberry leaf tea a go first.

It's 5% diluted with almond oil

Been trying sex for the past week, been bouncing on my birthing ball & been on the RLT since 35 weeks
