Just had my 4D scan! wow!

I've just got back from my 4D scan in portsmouth and it was great!!

The pictures weren't all as clear as i'd thought they'd be but the ones which were clear were fab!

I'd recommend it to anyone!

My niece and my brother in law have both been born with cleft palates so as it's on both sides of the family we were a bit worried and palate is something they can't check on a scan but we saw our little minger holding his cord in front of his face and sucking and licking it which means he does not have a cleft palate otherwise he wouldn't be able to suck!! Phew!!!

Baby is now definately confirmed as a boy!!

i want to have one done just to see all the details, but have normal scans every 4 weeks anyway.

why are you having so many scans misdee? I hope there isn't a problem?

I find scans very uncomfortable, I really didn't enjoy the one at 20 weeks at all, I felt faint throughout it.

growth scans. no problems, but had gestional diabetes in last pregnancy so i'm getting the full works, even though so far am clear of it.

Misdee I was so fed up of being scanned frequently in my last pregnancy that I catullay feel pity for you have so many scans!!!!

I would hate the fact that you always have to have a full bladder - i'd dread that bit of it!

I am a bit freaked that he sucks his cord! i wonder if that means he can actually taste what i have eaten? i had a lot of chilli flavoured stuff on saturday and i was very badly beaten up by him for it! oddly he didn't complain about the small glass of Rose wine i had on sunday night - he ist have agreed with that one!

Lol its funny what they react to isnt it? I went to the dentist this morning and must have been nervous coz as soon as i laid in the chair, he/she started punching me!!!!!
