Due date is tomorrow, and I have had the most uncomfy night so far!

It was too hot, even laying on the bed under ceiling fan!

I just want to sleep on my back again, and not wake up with sore hips, because I have layed on one side for too long.

On top of this, I have gone huge in the last few weeks, and I mean really huge! Its got the point now that I feel like I may just burst!

I am either carrying alot of water again, or its a huge baby!

Thanks for letting me whinge, I may add to this later as I enter over-due-dom...again

Oh and feel free to add your own whinges

well, well?? What happened this afternoon then?

laura325630 · 30/07/2008 16:47

I was massive from about 30 weeks and was huge just before I had dd. Everyone was telling me that my baby was going to be over 9lbs even the woman who did my 34 week scan! Turns out she was only 7lb 1oz!!! You may just be carrying loads of water like I did. Are your ankles swollen?

I hated going to bed at night as it was such an effort, I kicked dp out every night!!

It wont be for much longer though. Good luck x

FAQ · 30/07/2008 17:08

tomorrow! Wow that's quick!

Make sure you text me with name, weight, time etc afterwards so I can do my first ever "birth announcement for other MNer"

Divvy · 30/07/2008 17:14

Thing is Lulu, I only now have 12 hours to get myself ready for this mentally now, so I am going with a cs tomorrow. I will be 40+5, and had internal, and not favourable, head still very high.....but cx he wrote 2cm soft which was tight shut 2 weeks ago.

I am only 26 weeks, not huge, in fact measuring small for dates, boo-hoo, but finding working in an office without air conditioning hard going, especially when I cannot get to sleep at night. My ribs ache from sleeping on my side, horrid!

Sometimes I wake up on my back and worry as the midwife told me that sleeping on the back cuts off the blood supply to the baby.

laura325630 · 31/07/2008 21:23

Sleeping on your back can cut off the blood supply but it will make you feel dizzy and ill so you would wake up if it was doing any damage. Thats what my midwife told me as I was only comfortable on my back.

Divvy · 08/08/2008 11:53

Had my baby boy (no name) on 31st July weighing in at 10lbs 5 and half ozs. elective cs, arranged the day before. With also 2L of water as well. Even though I was numb, I fel it go light in there when they lifted him out!

Big thankyou to everyone that has listerned to me moan on here for the few , special thanks to lulu.

Off to pester the breastfeeding board, as i am breast feeding for the first time, not through lack of trying with the other 4...but have just realsied before i was nipple feeding and not breastfeeding!
