Hi,
I have my 32 week growth scan today, but have been getting cramps for the past few days. I was jsut wonderign if there would be anything than could be seen on a scan which might indicate that labour is likely to start soon?

Isnt there a machine i remeber which measures the rate of contractions ?? I seem to remeber something like that being attached to me for one of my monitering sessions , but think it may be done in a pre labour ward??

they could just be Braxton Hicks contractions

It feels more like early labour pains than actual contractions, so I'm not sure a trace monitor would pick it up. I'm sure I read soemthing about the cervix, but I cant remember where I read it.

I will ask them, thanks HappyMumof2.
I did wonder about Braxton Hicks, although I never really had them before, and this really does feel like the pains I had in early labour with dd. I'm not sure what it is.
