My sister has got me thinking (always a bad thing....) what are the physical signs of high BP?

I am 16+3, getting very breathless for hardly any reason (e.e. walking up the stairs), dizzy spells, head aches, sister thinks these are signs of high BP. Are they?

I have a MW appointment tomorrow anyway, but just got wondering about it, thought I'd ask on here

dizziness and faintness might be more to do with low bp, especially if you get it when you stand up too quick

The dizzyness comes when I am out of breath.

I've only had my BP taken once so far, and I don't know how it was different (I have no idea what numbers mean high or low BP) but I know the numbers were different to my other pregnancies.

Whilst you're about (brain picking time!!!) What are the chances of them agreeing to induce me at 40 weeks? is it nil nil or just a little bit nil?

Ok nat so I dont want to panic you here but I had pre eclampsia in the end with lauren and those were the symptoms I got especially the headaches. Good idea going to midwife they will check all is ok. Are you finding out the sex ? Sooooooooooo exciting xx

I had dizziness and nausea with pre-eclampsia too, but much later on. Hope everything is ok

I had PE with DS2, didn't have these symptoms though (had swelling beyond all swelling, and couldn't wee at all, also high BP and protein and urates(is that right?) in my wee)

I had dreadful dizziness and breathlessness, but I never had high BP. The headaches could be dehydration, but are sometimes just a sign of pregnancy. Lovely, lovely pregnancy.

I don't see how I could be dehydrated at all, I must be drinking about 5l a day at the moment, everytime I move I need a drink!

I had PE and did not have these symptoms, I didn't even know I had high blood pressure until I had it checked out at a routine appointment, in fact I felt fine.
I had swelling, high BP, protein in urine etc.

I recently had high blood pressure when I was poorly at Xmas, I felt heavy headed, head was pounding, generally felt unwell.

Elf I was the same, had gone in for a routine AN check up, MW saw the swelling, took my BP, and got an ambulance even though DH was with me, and it'd have been quicker to go in the car.
