What's your experience been like so far? Am waiting for my referral and chose St George's over St Thomas' because it's closer, but don't really know much about it.

Any comments would be useful.

Kookie, Badkitty, Girl, can you point me in the direction of any good links for HB? Something to get me started? I'm really interested to read about all my options, even though I think I want more drugs than you can have at a HB...

I think GWTMH posted the homebirth website which has all the stats, stories etc you could want, also I think this article in the Telegraph was one of the first things I read and thought it was helpful:

Thanks Kitty - interesting article. I wonder how many bookings Jane Evans got from that!

GWTMH I wonder whether you have the same mw team as I have in the past? (they were v.good and v pro HB with me)
There was a thread on here a little while ago about the home from home made quite interesting reading. i can't do links sorry otherwise I would.
Georges also has the midwife lead unit now which is quite new and gets good write ups.
My personal opinion is that the postnatal wards throughout London are pretty dire ie there is not much t choose between them. I know some places have cheaper private rooms you can choose and Kingston has lots of private rooms (? all private)
Good luck the lot of you!
