successful sweep ne1?

i had a hospital appointment today, im 40 weeks...woohooo...

they gave me a sweep and another one booked in 7 days, then duction booked for 5 days later...

wen exactly if the sweep works will it kick start tings?

Hiya,

With DD I had a sweep at 39+4 at about 10am in the morning.

First contractions hit that evening at 6:30pm, DD was then born at 39+5 at 4:21am.

I was 3cms dilated at the time of the sweep though which helped

MW told me to do things like mow the lawn, hoover, crawl up the stairs on hands & knees to help things along - all of which I did (plus had a massive fry up for lunch )
