How soon was your scan after booking...?

I went to see the midwife today - she said this is my 'pre-booking appointment' - I was given leaflets, forms to fill in and she took an MSU - I've got to go back in 3 weeks for my proper booking by which time I'll be 11 weeks - she will then book my dating scan. In the meantime I've got to decide if I want a normal dating scan or one which does the nuchal tests - if I go for the nuchal one I have to go to London for the scan (I live in Brighton) - how likely is it that I'll get a scan at 12 weeks if it's only booked at 11 weeks....?? Am impatient enough without delays!!

Mrsmontano, I don't know why I'd have to go to London - am booking in at the RSCH (rather than Worthing) so maybe they don't do them there? In any case I don't think we're going to have the nuchal test so it won't matter!
